WHAT ARE YOUR OPENING HOURS?
NightQuarter is always open from 4pm-10pm every Friday and Saturday.
The NightQuarter markets are always* open on Friday and Saturday between 4pm-10pm. If there is a ticketed event advertised in The Paddock, this does not impact the opening hours of the markets. All food stalls, market stalls, three bars and three live music stages are always accessible on Friday & Saturday from 4pm-10pm.
*NightQuarter sometimes opens on other days, which will be advertised on our website and social media.
*If there is a severe weather event, NightQuarter may not open for the safety of our vendors and patrons.
*NightQuarter may be closed on Christmas day if it falls on a Friday or Saturday.
WHO CAN COME TO NIGHTQUARTER?
NightQuarter is all ages! Everyone is welcome.
Kids 12 and under have free entry.
There are restricted areas on site where minors need to be accompanied by a legal guardian, 25 years and over.
CAN WE BRING PETS?
We love our pets too, but for health and safety reasons, no pets are allowed at NightQuarter. Guide dogs and service dogs are an exception.
IS THERE AN ADMISSION FEE?
A small $3 entry fee will be taken to contribute to security, cleaning and regular entertainment in every effort to offer guests the utmost comfort and safety.
Kids 12 and under have free entry.
NightQuarter proudly supports the Starlight Children’s Foundation. Funds raised will assist the Starlight Children’s Foundation in brightening the lives of seriously ill and hospitalised children
IS THERE PARKING?
Free parking is available at the Helensvale Westfield. There are over 2,000 parking spaces at Westfield where NightQuarter customers can park free of charge.
WHAT ARE THE PUBLIC TRANSPORT OPTIONS?
Catch the train and get off at the Helensvale Train Station, all you have to do is cross the road! Trains depart regularly in both directions until after midnight. Check the Translink website to plan your journey. The station is serviced by the Gold Coast Line (Varsity Lakes – All stations) and the Airport Line (Brisbane City & Airport – Express Beenleigh to Park Road, stopping Loganlea and Altandi).
The Translink Helensvale Bus Stop is directly across the road, and provides seven (A to G) bus stops. There is an additional bus stop close by (300028) on Town Centre Drive, which is serviced by the following routes: 700, 704, 705, 709, 740 and 777. Buses run regularly, and depart after 10pm on Friday and Saturday nights. Check the Translink website to plan your journey.

IS THERE A PARENTS ROOM?
Yes, there is a Parents Room. The Parents Room is located near the entrance of NightQuarter, behind the ATM. Please note that this is a container based facility, so space is limited.
IS THERE AN ATM IN THE VENUE?
Yes, there are ATMs provided at the entrance and in The Backyard.
WHAT IS YOUR MINORS POLICY?
NightQuarter is a family friendly venue, however there are some licensed areas on site that have restricted access for minors. These areas are considered 18+. Minors are permitted only with a parent or legal guardian who is over the age of 25.
A legal guardian is a responsible adult. A ‘responsible adult’ is either a parent, a step-parent or guardian over the age of 25 who has ‘parental rights, duties and responsibilities’ in relation to the minor. A responsible adult must actively supervise the minor at all times.
Licensed areas include The Paddock, Tapas Street and The Backyard.
WILL FIRST AID BE AVAILABLE?
Yes, there is a dedicated first aid station on site, just inside the entry, with qualified first aid officers.
WHERE SHOULD I STAY IN THE LOCAL AREA?

I HAVE A DISABILITY, CAN YOU HELP ME?
The entrances to the site and The Paddock, Tapas St, Depot Deck and The Backyard are all wheelchair accessible.
There are accessible toilet facilities available just inside both main entry points.
Accessible seating is available on The Depot deck for ticketed events. Please make yourself known at the front entry so we may assist you with the seating.
There are 5 designated accessible parking spaces on Main Street outside of the Westfield entrance. RMS permit is required. There is a back entrance where a vehicle can drop you off. Please call our site number on 1800 264 448 to get the Site Manager to assist your entry.
Service Animals are welcome inside the venue.

WHAT ARE YOUR MANAGEMENT PLANS FOR LOCAL RESIDENTS?
We have undertaken extensive studies and consulted with the local council to ensure we reduce any impact to local residents. The site has been designed to minimise the noise and traffic impact on the local community. All amplified noise will cease at 10pm and not exceed council approved sound restrictions at any time. Regular readings will be taken by our sound engineers. Public transport is highly accessible and over 2,000 car spaces are available to customers to avoid parking issues in the nearby streets. Free buses will be provided for patrons after the event, to travel on to a local licensed venue.
Our team will be responsible for checking the surrounding area for litter after NightQuarter closes each night.

IS SMOKING PERMITTED ON SITE?
Yes, there are three designated smoking areas on site. Smoking is prohibited outside of these areas.

CAN I GET A REFUND ON EVENT TICKETS?

LIVE MUSIC EVENTS FAQ
WHAT IS NIGHTQUARTER?
NightQuarter is a night market and a live music space set on a one hectare block in Helensvale. It opens every Friday and Saturday night from 4pm-10pm. The live music space, called The Paddock, is located at the rear of the NightQuarter markets under a large undercover hanger. The NightQuarter markets open regardless of whether there is an event on in The Paddock. Sometimes The Paddock is closed, or has exclusive access for ticket holders only.
The NightQuarter markets are home to over 100 different vendors, including 60 food and dessert vendors, so make sure you make a night of it and grab some delicious food when you come to a show at NightQuarter.
WHEN DOES THE LIVE MUSIC START?
Standard set times for live music in The Paddock is as follows:
4:00pm: Doors open
6:00pm: Live music starts
10:00pm: Doors close
Note that times are specific to each event and change accordingly. Set times will not be released for the events in The Paddock, as they are subject to change. We recommend planning to arrive by 6pm so you don’t miss any of the show.
IS THERE FOOD & DRINK AVAILABLE?
Yes. The NightQuarter markets are home to over 60 different food and dessert vendors. You will find cuisines from all over the world, from American barbecue to Turkish gozleme, to desserts of all varieties. It is the perfect place to come for a ‘dinner and show’. Make sure you allow extra time to explore the night markets and all the food options while you are at the venue.
The Paddock features three bars, with craft beers, wines and spirits available, as well as soft drinks and juices. There are an additional three bars in the NightQuarter markets for you to enjoy.
WHAT DO I DO WHEN I AM HAVING TROUBLE PURCHASING MY TICKET?
DO I HAVE TO PRINT MY TICKET?
Although we can scan your PDF ticket on your phone, we highly recommend that you print your ticket and bring it with you to the event. This allows the entry line to move much more efficiently, and we thank you for your assistance.
CAN MINORS AND KIDS ATTEND LIVE IN THE PADDOCK EVENTS?
All ticketed events in the Paddock are strictly 18+. Minors are not permitted.
The Gallery balcony (VIP space) is also 18+ only.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE VIP HOSPITALITY PACKAGE?
The VIP Hospitality package gives you access to ‘The Gallery’ VIP Balcony that overlooks both the stage and the crowd below. VIP tickets are always limited to ensure that you have a comfortable experience. There is stool seating provided (although seating is not allocated and you are not guaranteed a seat), and also booth seating at the back of the balcony.
The VIP package includes food from the NightQuarter market vendors delivered to you on platters on in grazing boxes. There is also a dessert station to end your night on a sweet note.
You will be given three drink tickets on arrival which can be redeemed in The Gallery bar for beer, wine or soft drink of your choice at any point during the event.
Note: VIP Packages can change for each event, this is subject to change.
CAN I BUY A TICKET AT THE DOOR ON THE NIGHT?
Unless an event is sold out prior, there will be a ticket booth available on the night for the on-site purchase of tickets. We release a handful of door tickets that can be purchased here, but to avoid disappointment, it is better to purchase online in advance.
HOW DO I GET A REFUND?
All tickets purchased are non-refundable or non-transferable. This means we are unable to process refunds on tickets. Tickets must be treated like cash, if they are lost or stolen there is no recourse for a refund. If a show has been cancelled by the promoters, Oztix will email you explaining this and the card used to make the purchase will be automatically refunded.
WHAT ITEMS CAN'T I BRING INTO THE EVENT?
• Video cameras, professional recording devices or cameras with removable lenses are not permitted.
• Weapons or items that are deemed unsafe by our security team are not permitted
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
While there is no specific dress code for NightQuarter, closed in shoes are highly recommended. Thongs and open shoes are worn at your own risk. Patrons without shirts will not be allowed in, or will be asked to leave.
IS THERE SEATING AVAILABLE?
There is some seating available around the outside perimeter of the venue, however it is first in best dressed. Bring your dancing shoes!
IS THERE DISABLED ACCESS/ VIEWING?
The site is flat, with the floor constructed from stabilised paving and some astroturf. There are clear walkways with ramps the bar at the back of The Paddock. The VIP area in The Paddock has stair access only.
If you are attending a ticketed event and you have a disability, please come through the VIP line and inform staff/ security of any disability that may affect your enjoyment of the event. We will brief you on disability services on site, including toilets and access ramps. We can provide you with an on-site contact to ensure your comfort at the event. IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE?
There are 2000+ car spaces available at the Helensvale Westfield, adjacent to NightQuarter.
Be responsible and nominate a designated driver! We want you and everyone on the roads to have a safe night out. Even if you are a little over the limit you are twice as likely to crash. Do not drink and drive.

HOW DO I GET THERE USING PUBLIC TRANSPORT?
NightQuarter has become a destination for major live music events on the Gold Coast. As a part of our commitment to creating excellent live music experiences, we are introducing free travel on public transport for ticket holders to shows at NightQuarter as you travel to the event.
The free travel offer will apply to all ticketed events announced after September 21st, 2017.
Show your event ticket on the day of the event to receive free travel on the public transport service you are using. Passengers travelling on the G:Link will have to transfer onto TransLink scheduled bus services at Gold Coast University Hospital to complete the journey.
NightQuarter is easy to get to. We are located across the road from the major Helensvale transit centre which includes a bus interchange and heavy rail station. Free travel on public transport makes it easier for you to enjoy a night out at NightQuarter live ticketed events.
The free travel is on Queensland Rail City Network services, Surfside Buslines services and G:Link light rail services only.
