The Soil to Supper Workshop Program provides an organic and holistic approach to gardening and growing fresh food.  Each session will guide you to enjoy a thriving, sustainable garden from the ground up with simple techniques and inspiring ideas!

Session 1 – Planning Your Edible Garden

Planning your growing spaces is one of the most important things you can do when creating gardens to grow fresh food.

Good planning will save you time and money!!

From this session you will gather ideas to plan your garden through an understanding of basic design methods, the importance of healthy soil and elements to grow a thriving, abundant garden.

Session 2 – Creating Garden Spaces

Once your garden is planned you can start creating garden spaces to grow in.

This is the fun time to get your hands dirty, create new gardens and watch your plans come to life!

From this session you will gather ideas to create your garden areas to include elements from your plan and sustainable systems to support a thriving garden.

Session 3 – Growing Seasonal Foods

Now your garden spaces are ready, it’s time to get growing!

You’ll choose plants to suit your garden, grow the foods you love to eat and enjoy abundant crops through each season.

From this session you will gather ideas to select suitable plants, grow new plants and enjoy container growing. You’ll understand the simple methods to successfully grow a variety of plants for pots and gardens.

Session 4 – Your Thriving Sustainable Garden

After following the planning, creating and growing methods, it’s time to nurture your garden to harvest fresh food through each season.

Enjoy a thriving garden and the delicious taste of fresh food!

From this session you will gather ideas to nurture your garden by identifying common garden problems and have an understanding of the natural solutions to apply.
