It’s time for a fiesta! Cinco de Mayo, meaning ‘the Fifth of May’ marks a celebration of Mexican cuisine, cocktails, and music. This year go on a tequila tasting journey around Mexico and celebrate the flavours the highlands and lowlands growing regions of blue agave. Sip margaritas and taste a variety of tequilas with pop up bars from Mexico’s biggest brands.

herradura

Born in 1870, Casa Herradura, located at Hacienda San Jose del Refugio, is the last tequila-producing Hacienda on the planet. Within its ancient walls, they craft and estate-bottle some of the finest tequilas anyone has ever tasted. It is here that they invented the first reposado and extra añejo, forever changing the world of tequila.

El Jimador

Named in honour of the man who mastered the art of selecting and harvesting the best blue agaves, el Jimador. Their tequila is 100% agave, so look for a rich and smooth mouth feel.

Batanga

Batanga Tequila is crafted by the Casa Orendain Family Estate, founded in 1926 in Jalisco, Mexico. Their award-winning tequila is made with 100% blue Weber agave using old-world methods passed down for generations.

Tequila Fortaleza

Tequila Fortaleza (meaning “Fortitude”) is produced from estate grown, 100% stone milled agave. A brick oven with meter thick walls cooks the agave for thirty six hours.

Casamigos

Small batch, ultra-premium tequilas made from the finest hand-selected 100% Blue Weber agaves, grown in the rich red clay soil and cool climate of the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico.

Calle 23

Calle 23 is a highland tequila from Jalisco. Its creator, French-born biochemist Sophie Decobecq, distils each expression separately (Blanco, Reposado, Aejo) to its own special recipe. Her tequilas are double-distilled and she uses Bourbon casks from Kentucky.

Sierra

Sierra has long been Australia’s introduction to Tequila. Born from the high reaches of Jalisco, Mexico, the iconic sombrero invokes memories of good times and celebration for generations of party goers around the nation.

Patrón

From hand-harvesting the best 100 percent Weber Blue Agave, to the traditional, time-honored distillation process and individual labeling, numbering, and inspection of each bottle, PATRÓN is crafted with meticulous precision and care.

tequila Tromba

Cultivating a team of expert agave growers, jimadores, glass blowers and builders, the Tromba name is established in authentic old world tradition, with new world boldness and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Uniquely Distiller-owned, they are the makers, the doers and the mavericks who strive to take life by storm.

Frida’s Divine Women’s Orchestra (Mariachi Band)

Las Fridas are inspired by the exotic Mexican Artist Frida Kahlo. This seriously sensational and humorous troupe of singing Senoritas create her beautiful and iconic self-portraits awash with colourful swirling skirts and passionate haunting sounds.

Event Information

Can I bring my dog?

Yes! We welcome all people-friendly dogs in most areas. There are some signed restricted areas including the NightQuarter Live concert space. One pet per adult in only on a leash… clean up all accidents!)

Is it family friendly?

NightQuarter is a family environment, however, for this event the whole site will require minors to be accompanied by a guardian.

Kids 3 and under have free entry and family passes for $10 are available.

Children under 18 years must be accompanied by a guardian.

Wonder Amusements is a destination for family fun with jumping castles, games, amusement rides and fun for the young and young at heart.

We have security throughout the site and cleaning teams to ensure a safe and clean environment for you and your family.

Do you accept companion cards?

We accept companion cards. Please contact our customer support with your valid companion card so we can assist to issue you a ticket. You will need to order your companion ticket in conjunction with a general admission ticket.

Can I exchange my tickets if I can't attend?

Is there car parking?

800 parking spaces are available at Stockland Birtinya. Parking is free for two hours and free after 5pm. An additional 300 car spaces are available off Kawana Way, and street parking throughout the area.

There are several bus stops located along Kawana Way. Route maps and timetables are available from Translink or call 13 12 30.

Taxi rank and rideshare pick up available on Station Road or in front of Stockland Birtinya.
