What are your opening hours?

We are open every weekend year round on Fridays and Saturdays from 4pm to 10pm, Sundays (seasonally) from 12pm to 6pm.

The venue may occasionally open additional days during peak holiday periods and for special events.

Functions and special events can be booked 7 days per week until midnight.

Is there an entry fee?

Yes. $3 – 12 years & under are FREE, payable at the gate upon entry. Eftpos transactions are $3 + Eftpos merchant fees. We accept companion cards and no entry fee will be charged for a carer that accompanies a person with a disability.

Why do you charge an entry fee?

NightQuarter engages a cleaning team, on site security, traffic management staff and market officers to ensure a high standard of operation.

Is alcohol available to purchase onsite?

Yes, the entire venue is licensed. There are three bars across the precinct and an additional three bars in the NightQuarter Live space.

We ask you to strongly consider nominating one person in your group as the designated driver.

Minors will not be served at any bar and accompanied minors must have orders for non-alcoholic beverages placed by a responsible parent/guardian.

It is illegal to take liquor into, or away from this venue.

Unduly intoxicated or disorderly persons, in accordance with the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), will be refused service and may be asked to leave the premises.

We have the right to refuse entry to any person.

All employees are trained and supported by management to request valid identification from persons whom they believe appear under 25 years of age.

Is there parking?

We currently have in excess of 500 FREE carparks available onsite and parking around the venue street surrounds. There are several Translink bus stops located along Kawana Way. Route maps and timetables are available from Translink on 131230.

There is also a large drop off/pick up zone located on The Avenue outside of Malt Shovel Taphouse next door for taxis, ride shares and private vehicles.

There are disabled parking spaces available in the car park located between NightQuarter and Malt Shovel Taphouse.

Is there sufficient seating?

NightQuarter has thousands of seats and many more places to stand, eat and drink at our dry bars.

What if I have a disability?

At NightQuarter we aim to ensure everyone’s visit is as enjoyable as possible.  We are committed to providing suitable access for all our guests, whatever their individual needs.

Please make yourself known to our entry staff upon arrival and we will try to assist you and your party with whatever help you may need.

The surface is flat and we have dedicated wheelchair friendly tables marked onsite in Hawker St, wheelchair ramps, two disabled toilet facilities located close to the entrance and another outside the NightQuarter LIVE entry, wide, easily accessible sealed pathways throughout the entire venue. You can also access the ATM via a ramp to the right of the front entrance.

NO entry fee will be charged for a Carer that accompanies a person with a disability.

To obtain a job with a Stallholder, you will need to approach them individually yourself as NightQuarter does not provide an employment service for any of its Stallholders.

How do I arrange a fundraising stall at NightQuarter?

Fundraising stalls at NightQuarter are provided free of charge to charities and some fundraising organisations. Please email hello@nightquarter.com.au for further information.

Is there a lost property?

All staff are directed to hand in lost property to the Venue Office located to the left just inside the the front entrance. Please enquire at the Venue Office in the first instance otherwise call our venue manager on 0401 244 449.

What happens if it is raining?

Although NightQuarter is classified as an outdoor venue, 80% is undercover with plenty of seating under shelter if it is raining.

What happens In the event of extreme weather?

The safety of our guests and staff are paramount. In the event of extreme weather, we may close the venue, if this occurs we will advise the public as best we can through messaging on social media and our website.

Are there ATMs located onsite?

Yes, we have 4 ATMS inside the main entrance. We also have eftpos facilities at the bars.

Is there a parents room?

Baby change facilities are located inside our children’s toilet block outside ‘Wonder’ interactive zone.

Can we bring our pets?

We love our pets however due to health and safety, dogs are not permitted unless there is a specific event which will advertise the change of regulations on our social media and website.

Assistance animals such as guide dogs are welcome in all areas.

Can I bring a pram or stroller?

Yes. However prams and strollers are not permitted at NightQuarter LIVE ticketed events.

Can I reserve a table?

We currently don’t reserve tables however you can book booths for birthdays and functions.

Are there gluten free or vegan options?

Yes. Many of our stallholders offer gluten free and vegan options

Is there a First Aid onsite?

Yes, there is a dedicated First Aid room to the right inside the front entry with extensive first aid kit. Our managers and security are fully qualified Senior First Aid officers.

Is there a dress code?

We ask that you don’t arrive barefoot or shirtless in accordance to RSA requirements.

What items are not allowed in the venue?

Alcohol (BYO), distribution of promotional material, illegal drugs, glass, any items considered dangerous or otherwise illegal, weapons of any kind, laser lights, fireworks, water pistols, skateboards, roller blades or the like, furniture incl. chairs, no external food or picnics.

Do you have a cloak room?

We can ticket bags, coats, umbrellas etc at the front main entrance.

Do you have lost property?

Yes we do. If you have lost something at the end of the night please see staff at the entry. If your realise after please call us and we can check the lost property on 0401 244 449.

Is smoking permitted onsite?

Smoking is permitted in designated smoking areas only.

Sapps and Co is our preferred supplier for environmental packaging. Sapps and Co is a local family business providing quality packaging, food and beverage, cleaning, and chemical products that meet the requirements of the modern customer who want recycled, compostable and sustainable products.

The NightQuarter RepairLab and Community Container will be launching as part of a new focus empowering the community to reduce, reuse and recycle. The space will provide opportunities for the community to meet with skilled volunteers to repair and reuse furniture, clothes, jewellery, bicycles and more.

Conditions of Entry

You will need photo ID and ticket (yes you can have the ticket on your phone).

All patrons under 18 must be accompanied by a Responsible Adult at all times.

Please wear shoes, thongs are fine just have something on your feet.

Must be fully clothed ie wearing top and bottoms that are considered ‘proper’ attire.

No infants or babies allowed to attend any 18+ events.

Please be aware of the following:
– All bags will be subject to search
– No alcohol or drugs are permitted
– Must comply with the Venue rules.

Prohibited items

• Alcohol (BYO), distribution of promotional material, illegal drugs, glass, any items considered dangerous or otherwise illegal, weapons of any kind, laser lights, fireworks, water pistols, skateboards, roller blades or the like, strollers/prams, furniture incl. chairs, no external food or picnics. The only exception is sealed plastic bottled still water.

• Professional Cameras, sound and video recording equipment and selfie/go pro sticks – it is a requirement by the majority of performers that there be no cameras with the exception of Media.

• Glass – this includes wine glasses, jars, or any other containers or items made of glass.

• This is a STANDING venue so please don’t bring any chairs as it becomes dangerous.  If you have a disability we can accommodate you, please make yourself known at the entrance.  We have a dedicated area for wheelchair viewing.

• There is some seating in the Gallery/VIP area upstairs in NightQuarter LIVE however this is not accessible by wheelchair or minors.

• NO Pets allowed. (other than assistance dogs).

I have purchased a HARD TICKET and now I have lost my ticket, what do I do?

Once the ticket sale is processed the purchase is final. While obviously we sympathize with you if you lose your ticket, we are unable to reissue. Even if we have a record of your purchase, we cannot be certain that other less scrupulous members of the public will not use the ticket. Please treat your ticket like cash, as they are irreplaceable.

Are there tickets available on the day?

Limited tickets may be available at the gate on the day of the event from 4pm.  Check the venue facebook page for updates on the day to check that the show has not sold out. If tickets have SOLD OUT prior to the date then there will be none available.

What will be the set times?

Set times may change but will usually be announced on the day of the show on the social media event and by EDM sent during the week prior. Doors and Closing times will be available on announce for each shows.

Do you have seated tickets?

From time to time for some shows we will have dedicated seating events which will state such on the Oztix ticketing page.

Where do we park?

Parking can be found for FREE on the streets around the venue and in the Stockland car park from 4pm.

Is there Public Transport easy to get to?

Yes, just in front of the venue. Also TAXI and RIDESHARE services are easy to grab out the front of Malt Shovel Taphouse next door.

Can we bring our children?

Yes to ALL AGE shows however not to 18+ events.

Does the venue provide pass outs?

Yes, security will provide a pass out.

What happens if it rains?

We have a roof over NightQuarter LIVE so it will still go ahead unless there is an extreme weather event.

Is there smoking?

Designated smoking sections are available. Please smoke in the assigned areas only. Although we are considered an outdoor venue you can only smoke in these designated areas. Security issue only one warning, if you are a repeat offender you will be asked to leave the venue.

Will there be food?

YES. For the majority of shows you get access to the NightQuarter market if it is operating.  If it isn’t, we will have a variety of options including vegan.  Options will depend on the size of the show.

Do you sell alcohol?

Yes of course we will sell CAN beers options, house wine and bubbles. Soft drinks and water and a small variety of cocktails.
